Practice Champions!

Practice champions are valuable in supporting service improvement, running groups for patients and generally helping to connect the practice with local voluntary groups.

We are currently developing staff within the Practice to become "Champions" to support patient groups such as Carers, Military Veterans and Cancer Care.  We also have a Patient Advocacy Champion.

This means that patients within these groups have a dedicated member of the team to contact and discuss any concerns or queries with and this person will also support you with updates or information as things change.

Our Current Practice Champions are:

  • Shirley - Patient Advocacy Champion
  • Freya - Carers Champion
  • Laura T - Cancer Champion
  • Laura O - Veteran Champion

If you would like any further information about these roles and how they can assist you, please do not hesitate to contact us on 01704 396020

We are looking for members for our new Patient Participation Group (PPG)!

By working together, we and our Patient Participation Group will be able to identify the fundamental needs of our patients and gain a solid understanding of our local health and social care system. By encouraging patient participation, we aim to ensure that the voice of patients in our community informs decision making at local, system-wide and political levels.

We are planning to undertake an initial introductory meeting sometime in November.

If this is something that you feel that you'd like to be involved in please click on the link below or contact a member of our reception team.
